Production Facilities Engineer
Lime Rock Resources
Don began his career working on facilities for heavy oil production. This included waterflood, fireflood, steam flood, wellhead compression and primary separation facilities. A relocation expanded his design experience to include high pressure gas facilities, gas plants, and sour gas handling.
Don moved to Houston and set up the Engineering & Construction Department for a large mid-sized company and set the first platforms and pipelines in the Gulf of Mexico for the company. A job change ultimately led to setting up the North American Operations Department for one of the super-major companies.
Ultimately, Don moved on to work as a Project Manager on a Russian oil tank farm and offshore loading system, heavy oil production and processing facilities in Venezuela, and other facilities around the world. Most recently, Don has been engineering facilities for shale operations including upstream facilities, pumping facilities, wellhead compression, and dual fuel operations.
